Property was good small and relaxing, we enjoyed this place.
The breakfast was reasonably good with rice pudding flavoured with rosewater, jam plus moroccan pancakes, excellent service.

Will be back as it was a really good stay in September. Reasonably large & clean hotel, its location is good and magnificent near to the walled Medina, the noisiest areas, and 2 minutes, the square or the ramparts 5 minutes. The staff is fantastically friendly, as well as owner

What a peaceful haven! From the moment I stepped foot into this Riad, I felt a warm welcome. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making my stay even more enjoyable. The Riad itself was bright and spacious, with stunning views and a lovely roof terrace where I could relax and take in the beautiful surroundings. I loved that it was located in a quiet area, away from the hustle and bustle of the town. my experience at Dar Liouba was fantastic and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil and welcoming place to stay.

Dar Liouba is not only made to be a warm Riad because of it's beautiful and unique architecture but most definately because of the warm and caring attention given by Kermagh and her family who transformed our stay into a very homely and welcoming experience.

Clean room, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, and cozy atmosphere. The hotel is located down a charming alley, not far from the historic centre, and it was very easy to walk to everything. We enjoyed the beautiful terrace with a view of the city and the variety of breakfasts provided during our four-night stay. The staff were always available to provide recommendations and make our stay pleasant.
Nothing it was perfect.

We saw a special deal on Booked.net for 2 nights and decided to go to the hotel directly when we arrived in Essaouira. When we arrived, we were received by their night watcher, Ragi. Ragi cited a different price and ended up calling the owner of the hotel because he could not make the end decision. The owner mentioned over the phone that it's not possible to get the room at the rate stated on Booked.net and wanted to charge us twice as much! After showing her employee, Ragi, the website with the special deal, she gave us the room reluctantly. The house is nice and cosy but the room was just ok. Breakfast was good. We were served tea on two occasions. The first time when we arrived and the 2nd time when we sat in the living room. We were charged for the tea although we did not order them! We wouldn't pay more than the price stated on the website for the room.

The hotel had a great location nearby the medina and the tourist points were easy to reach. The traditional atmosphere of the hotel was really enjoyable, making us feel like we were part of a museum. The staff were very friendly, with one in particular who showed great commitment and hospitality throughout our stay. The breakfast was beautifully presented, with an array of tasty options.
The hotel was quite difficult to find and the surrounding area felt sketchy at night. The owners weren't always as helpful as we hoped, so we had to navigate our own way around at times.
